SPIRIT to Demonstrate Multi-Platform 'FaceTime-like' HD Multipoint Video Conferencing at Mobile World Congress 2011

MOSCOW, Feb. 7, 2011 - SPIRIT DSP, the world's top voice and video over IP engines provider, has announced today its plans to demonstrate live multipoint high-definition (HD) videoconferencing between PCs and smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Feb. 14-17.
In booth #2H11, Hall 2, SPIRIT will demonstrate the following products:

Voice&Video Conferencing Engine - a server-client software development
kit (SDK) designed with ubiquity of IP communications in mind. The SDK

The solution includes a set of fully interoperable voice and video
engines for PCs, smart phones, tablets (like Apple iPad/iPad2 or Samsung
Galaxy Tab) and in-browser web applications that turn any user terminal
into a video conferencing endpoint. The server provides an
unprecedented level of scalability and cost-efficiency, supporting up to
a 1,000 concurrent video channels on a standard PC server.
o Cost-effective, multipoint IP video conferencing: VideoMost(TM) - a
web-based, massively multipoint video conferencing white-label software
platform, powered by TeamSpirit Engines. VideoMost enables service
providers to immediately launch their own branded and highly scalable
multipoint video conferencing service to their subscribers as a SaaS,

Both solutions are IMS and LTE-ready and embrace H.264SVC scalable video codecs.
