Spirax Enhances Pure Steam Capabilities with Acquisition of Ultrapure Group
BLYTHEWOOD, SC- Spirax Sarco, Inc., (SSI) announces the acquisition of majority interest in UltraPure Group Limited, Inc., a Florida-based company that manufactures pure steam generators and water stills for the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
The company has been renamed Spirax UltraPure, LLC, and has joined SSI as a business unit within Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc. Established since 1993, UltraPure is headquartered in North Port, Florida.
"UltraPure is a natural fit for our steam solution portfolio. We anticipate that, as hygiene requirements become more demanding, UltraPure's products and technology will be increasingly relevant in a broader range of steamusing applications," said Mark Vernon, Divisional Director Americas. "We are excited to welcome the UltraPure team to the Spirax Sarco family."
Nigel Sewell, Northeast Regional Sales Manager for SSI, has relocated to Florida as President and General Manager of Spirax UltraPure.
