SpiderLine® Enables Ohio Bridge Deck Replacement
Seattle – Spider, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, recently provided SpiderLine® temporary horizontal lifeline systems for fall protection during the deck replacement on the I-77 bridge in Garfield Heights, Ohio.
Long-time Spider customer, Ruhlin Construction Company, required a pass- through fall protection system that was easy to move and highly visible for its workers. Spider's Cleveland team demonstrated the SpiderLine® system at Ruhlin's facility, and within two days of the demo, the order was placed for twenty-seven lifeline assemblies and seventy stanchions.

Spider's solution is expected to be on-site until this phase of the project concludes in ____. The successful bridge deck replacement will ultimately improve drainage on I-77 north- and south-bound between I-480 and Grant Avenue over the Cuyahoga River, State Route 17, Canal Road, CSX Railroad and the Ohio and Erie Canal Reservation.
