Spectrum Two(TM) IR Spectrometer Offered by Terra Universal

Fullerton, CA – Spectrum Two FTIR Spectrometer is a compact and portable spectrometry analyzer with push-button operation. Data collection and processing are fast, with validation of results using an on-board library of references. Digital interferograms display more accurate results, with fewer artifacts and improved linearity. Algorithms compensate for interfering absorption of hydrogen and carbon dioxide.

Applications using the Spectrum Two FTIR spectrometry include raw material interrogation, QA/QC, academia/training, and environmental and industrial testing. Analytes are identified and quantified. The simple push-button operation makes testing fast, and available to personnel of all training levels. An enhanced calibration system uses gas-phase spectra; each instrument’s “signature” is standardized to increase accuracy and improve intra-instrument data transfer.

Use Spectrum Two off-site with its optional battery pack or car adapter as a power source. No alignment is required for the fixed-mirror design, so portability and field-use doesn’t present operational issues. The instrument is protected with a humidity shield to make it usable in various climes.

The software has enhanced data security, meeting 21 CFR Part 11. Program methods and create scheduling of sample analyses. Use PC workstations to develop applications and download them to Spectrum Two. Results are stored for reporting, or to monitor trends over time.
