Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Will Hold New Wide-Ranging Technical Conference for Plastics Professionals in Asia



SPE ISSUES CALL FOR PAPERS FOR FIRST ASIATEC(TM) CONFERENCE, PLANNED AS AN ASIAN COUNTERPART TO SPE ANTEC®

NEWTOWN, CT. U.SA., The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is recruiting speakers to present papers at the Society's first ASIATEC(TM) Conference, a wide-ranging plastics technical conference designed as an Asian counterpart to SPE's renowned ANTEC® in North America.

SPE ASIATEC will take place February 15-16, 2011 in Tokyo.

Original papers are being solicited in the following areas: Nanotechnology, Composites for Automobiles, Packaging Products, Green Plastics and Biomass Plastics, Medical Plastics and Bioplastics, Polymer Processing, Engineering Properties and Structure, Thermoplastic Elastomers, Optics and Optical Devices, and Life-Support Plastics.

Prospective presenters should submit preliminary abstracts by October 1, 2010, via the website: web.mac.com/msainst/spe/ASIATEC2011.html. The conference will be conducted in English. Presentations should be 30 minutes long. The papers will be published in the conference proceedings and in SPE's online technical library.
