SPE Sets Conference Dates and issues call for papers.

As announced by South Texas Section of SPE, 23rd International Polyolefins Conference® will take place in Houston, TX from February 27 to March 2, 2011. South Texas Section also issued call for papers for conference, which will revolve around theme of "Evolving Technology for the Global Economy." Abstracts are welcome on any topic involving polyolefins or flexible packaging and should be submitted by November 1. Papers or presentations are due by December 15.

SPE Sets Dates for Polyolefins 2011 Conference and Issues Call for Papers



NEWTOWN, CT, U.S.A.: The 23rd International Polyolefins Conference® will take place in Houston, Texas on February 27- March 2, 2011, it was announced today by the South Texas Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE).

The South Texas Section has also issued a call for papers for the conference, which will be held at Houston's Hilton Hotel North. The theme of the event will be "Evolving Technology for the Global Economy."

Those wishing to present a paper should submit an abstract (due by November 1, 2010) and paper or presentation (due by December 15, 2010) directly to www.SPEPolyolefinPapers.org or to either of the following persons:

Submissions will be peer-reviewed for technical quality, originality, style, and relevance, with sensitivity to the use of commercial references. Abstracts are welcome on any topic involving polyolefins or flexible packaging, but the following topic areas are of particular interest:
