Sneeze Guard™ Breath Shield from Terra Universal

Press release date: December 1, 2016

Fullerton, CA – Transparent barriers called Sneeze Guard Breath Shields from Terra protect expensive microscopes, while making lab technicians more comfortable. The rigid shield fits over microscope eyepieces, separating sensitive or valuable samples from contaminants that may result from breathing, sneezing, coughing.

Face masks are generally used when viewing sample through a microscope. Masks can be uncomfortable and hot, as well as costly. Labs also need proper waste bins for disposal. The economical and reusable Sneeze Guard fits over microscope eyepieces, to negate the need for face masks, by preventing particles and moisture from reaching the stage and lens areas. Made of strong, clear acrylic or ESD-fighting static-dissipative PVC, the surfaces are fast and easy to wipe down.

Terra manufactures standard sizes and cuts, but can also customize the Sneeze Guard to fit other equipment. They will ship no-charge samples of the acrylic material for evaluation by customers.

Terra Universal has 40 years of experience manufacturing critical-environment equipment for cleanrooms and laboratories. For more information about Sneeze Guard Breath Shields, visit Terra Universal's web site.
