SME partners to create skills certification system.

March 13, 2009 - SME is partnering with NAM and The Manufacturing Institute to form the NAM-Endorsed Manufacturing Skills Certification System. This will provide skills assessments, standardized curriculum requirements, and portable credentials identified by manufacturers as necessary for employees to have. Grounded on ACT National Career Readiness Certificate, system includes certification programs of various industry groups that focus on entry level positions.
