SKF Introduces Training Program for Fleet Technicians

ELGIN, Ill. - SKF recently introduced its Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Program, an incentive-based training program designed for heavy duty fleet technicians. The Heavy Duty Pit Crew Program provides fleet technicians with the industry's latest technical tips, failure analysis data and product information.

As a member of the Heavy Duty Pit Crew Program, fleet technicians receive the latest technical information through periodic newsletters, product self-study guides and graphically-detailed technical manuals. Additionally, members gain exclusive access to the Heavy Duty Pit Crew On-line Community, where they have 24-hour access to downloadable reference materials and technical data.

"The Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Program is designed to increase the profitability and uptime of fleets," said Per Jacobsson, Director of Marketing Communications, SKF. "Our continuing engineering endeavors combined with our technical partnership with Richard Childress Racing allows us to research and develop new products and technologies, and in turn pass that data onto technicians across various industries around the world."

With each redemption, technicians receive an automatic entry into a Grand Prize drawing for a chance to become an Honorary Pit Crew member for the No. 31, No. 29 or No. 07 Richard Childress Racing NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Team.
