IPC APEX EXPO Raising Funds for Academic Scholarships and Japanese Red Cross

BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, - After its successful launch in 2010, the IPC Foundation Silent Auction will return to IPC APEX EXPO(TM), April 12-14, 2011, in Las Vegas. Proceeds of the Silent Auction directly fund IPC Foundation initiatives, such as the All-Academic Poster Competition and technical conference scholarships.

During the exhibition, IPC APEX EXPO participants can stop by booth 901 to bid on a variety of sports and entertainment memorabilia, trips and experiences. Individual auctions will be held April 12 and 13 and winners announced at the end of each day.
For the Xtreme-type individual, an experience flying a fighter jet or racing a Ferrari or Lamborghini may satisfy the fire within. On the other end of the spectrum, a Napa Wine Tour or a weeklong stay at a luxury resort may be more appealing. Purchases are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

In addition to the Silent Auction, IPC will be raising funds for the Japanese Red Cross through a charity raffle with a grand prize of a $2,000 American Express gift card, donated by IPC. All raffle proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20, and will be sold at registration counters and in the IPC bookstore, booth 201.
