Sigma Design Company Invests in New Jersey Expansion and Adds 10 Contract Manufacturing Cells
(Middlesex, New Jersey) Sigma Design Company, LLC purchased a new commercial property for manufacturing and assembly in central New Jersey and moved in on October 28th, 2011. The company is betting on the future of New Jersey manufacturing with its investment in a new 20,000 square foot facility, which is eight times its current footprint. The site is located at 200 Pond Avenue, Middlesex, New Jersey 08846 and will house a new "Technology Commercialization and New Product Manufacturing Center". New capabilities for the firm are 10 independent production cells to serve customers local production needs. There are 6 manufacturing cells currently available. The company will also expand its services to further help customers to more successfully bring novel technology products to market that are "Made in New Jersey".

The Company designs and optimizes creative engineering solutions for the medical/laboratory, renewable energy, clean technology, consumer products and other sectors.
Over the coming years this expansion will result in new high-wage, hi-tech jobs in New Jersey as well as additional business for our suppliers. The company expects to source technical hires from places like Middlesex County College and to source engineers from places like Stevens Institute of Technology.
"Later this year we will offer the 500 square foot, or larger, cell spaces at our new 200 Pond Avenue facility in Middlesex, NJ for small scale manufacturing as well as other resources to business ventures to more successfully 'cross the chasm' to technology commercialization", added Lynch.
