Open to the public, building owners, building managers and others are welcome to attend and learn how to improve the sustainability and environmental management of their facilities. This training is a great way to learn more about a goal all can share: preserving the environment and reducing the impact we have on the world around us.

"There is so much confusion about sustainability," says Karen Petersen, Manager of Education Services at Siemens Building Technologies. "This class provides the necessary information to develop a practical sustainability plan."

Featured topics include: sustainability performance improvement, sustainability performance measurement, business implications, green standards including Energy Star and the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System(TM). Opportunities to reduce facility costs through improved energy management practices will be identified.
