SERAPID Announces New Staff Members
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. –Â Â Serapid, Inc., a leading supplier of lifts, quick die change and horizontal transfer systems, is pleased to announce the addition of three new employees to its staff.
Chris Fugedi has joined as Sales Account Manager for Industrial Sales. Chris will be responsible for generating new business for the industrial sector, including aerospace manufacturing, composites and tube and pipe production.
Fugedi has two decades of experience in B2B sales and comes to Serapid most recently from Emerson Industrial Automation, where he served as Automotive Account Manager. Previously, he was Technical Sales Representative for Flodraulic Group, as well as Account Representative for Key Plastics. Chris is a graduate of University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Administration and Management. He is a passionate advocate for social causes, including children's welfare, and is a volunteer coach for the Michigan Bulldogs and the Livonia Hockey Association.
Steven Buell joins Serapid Inc. as Senior Mechanical Engineer. He brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in product design to Serapid's new product development team. He will also guide daily design methods and efforts.
Buell comes to Serapid from Cooper Standard where he was Sr. Product Development Engineer. Previously he was Product Design Engineer at DAXCON Engineering and Design Engineer at MP Pumps Inc., where he developed several products for which he received U.S. and international patents. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Warren National, and is devoted to causes including science and technology, children's education.
Denis Pronin joins Serapid Inc, as Project Manager and will be responsible for managing design, manufacturing, and installation/start-up.
He is licensed as P.Eng. in Canada and is working on becoming licensed in the US under international provisions for reciprocity. He was most recently at Quickmill Inc, as a Mechanical Designer mechanical engineer performing design and project management, and was Junior Mechanical Designer at Christie Digital and Mirus International. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Waterloo. Denis is a Powerlifter, and is currently the holder of three national records and two world records.
