Sensoray Highlights Model 2253P Codec, Ideal for Video Pipeline Inspection, Mining, Robotics and More

For ease of use, device supports a number of formats and requires no specific driver

Tigard, OR – Sensoray announces that its Model 2263 High Definition/Standard Definition (HD/SD) A/V Encoder provides users with the performance and flexibility they need, especially in sports imaging and game simulation applications. The device supports multiple digital and analog input formats, and is available in a board-only version, or housed in a rugged metal enclosure.

The Sensoray Model 2263 device captures HD/SD video and simultaneously sends compressed and uncompressed (preview) streams to the host. Supported video inputs include DVI, component (with a component to DVI-I adapter, not included) and composite. Audio can be captured from an analog line input, compressed and multiplexed into the transport stream.

Sensoray provides Software Development Kits (SDKs) for several operating systems to help users speed up application development. In addition, a fully functional demo application illustrates the device's capabilities and serves as a starting point for custom development.
