Senior Technical Consultant Joins Atlas Consulting Group
Chicago, May 1: Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC is pleased to introduce Dr. David Dumbleton as a Senior Technical Consultant for the newly created Atlas Consulting Group. Dr. Dumbleton will lend his expertise in environmental durability and performance to a number of Atlas customers, as well as focus on growing the North American consulting services group.
Before joining Atlas, Dr. Dumbleton's experience included technical and business management in the polymer materials industry. He has worked as a Director of Research and Development at Alcoa Flexible Packaging, served as Business Director of an $85 million division at the P.H. Glatfelter Paper Company, and worked as V.P. Technology and Engineering at Graphic Packaging Corporation, a $350 million spin-off from the Coors Brewing Company.
With over 25 years of experience in the materials industry, Dr. Dumbleton's knowledge of weathering applications and material composition brings an unprecedented level of expertise that will guide Atlas' customers to better testing protocols, experimentation methodologies and product performance.
Dr. Dumbleton holds degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics and Materials Science from Northwestern University, the University of Wisconsin, and Georgia Tech.
