Senior Industrial Hygenist/EHS Specialist Joins Irvine Office
Irvine, CA ¯ Ms. Kathy Norton, a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant, has joined Golder's Irvine, CA office to perform industrial hygiene and environmental hazard assessments for a wide variety of industries. Norton consults with clients on compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines as well as best management practices in occupational and environmental health and safety.
Norton has 15 years of technical and project EHS management experience in semiconductor manufacturing; aerospace; petroleum terminal, pipeline and marine transport; municipal government operations; and coatings manufacturing among others.
Her project experience includes industrial hygiene sampling, assessment and program development; EHS program development, training and implementation; hazardous materials compliance; hazardous waste management; groundwater remediation; and environmental management systems development.
Norton is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and a diplomate of the Academy of Industrial Hygiene.
