Sectra Signs Agreement to Distribute Its Breast Imaging PACS with Integrated Volpara Breast Density Software
SHELTON, Connecticut - International medical technology company, Sectra [http://www.sectra.com/medical] (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: SECT B), announces an agreement with Matakina International Ltd. to distribute Volpara Breast Density Software, fully integrated with Sectra Breast Imaging PACS.
This strategic agreement with Volpara Software will provide Sectra customers an objective way to standardize breast density assessment, seamlessly integrated into their clinical workflow.

Sectra Breast Imaging PACS is a web-based, multi-modality workstation featuring advanced diagnostic tools, including integrated CAD and reporting, that offers a single-system reading environment for mammographers. All digital breast images, even breast tomosynthesis, regardless of modality vendor, are automatically displayed in the same size with correct orientation and alignment, facilitating comparison of current and prior images.
