SCR Air Heaters Added to Stelter & Brinck Website

Stelter Brinck has added a new type of air heater to their website: SCR or Selective Catalytic Reduction Air Heaters. These systems can be found on their Duct Style Air Heater page.

Common applications of SCR heaters are utility boilers, industrial boilers, tail-end SCR power plant systems, and many more.

Stelter & Brinck's SCR Heaters can be used for the following two purposes:

1. A Start-Up Heater: prevent low temperature corrosion during boiler start-up.

2. A Post-Heater (also known as Reheater, Flue Gas Heater, SCR Duct Burner): used in conjunction with systems where nitrous oxide compounds are present, but the flue gas temperature is below the range required for the SCR catalyst reaction. S&B's SCR Post-Heater increases the temperature of the flue gas before entering the SCR catalyst and thereby enabling the catalyst to convert the NOx to meet emission regulations.

Each unit is designed and built to provide consistent and reliable performance in tough conditions. Stelter & Brinck's SCR Air Heaters are fully packaged, pre-piped and prewired, units tested fired and tuned before shipment in S&B's factory.

Stelter & Brinck, located just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, has been designing and manufacturing process heat equipment for over 55 years. Their products include industrial air heaters, metals industry equipment, environmental systems, ovens and furnaces, combustion systems, combustion field services, equipment parts and more!
