Scienscope to Display X-Scope 8000 AXI at NEPCON South China

Chino, CA – Scienscope International, a complete inspection solutions provider, today announced that it will exhibit the new X-Scope 8000 AXI in booth B-1B28 at NEPCON South China, scheduled to take place August 25-27, 2015 at the Shenzhen Convention Exhibition Center.

AXI systems from Scienscope are fully automatic X-ray inspection machines using new advanced servo axis motion technology in order to rotate the target, and move the flat panel detectors to an oblique angle. Using this new innovative design allows the machine to move to these positions quickly and precisely, which is important when using inline X-ray for 100% inspection. Our new innovative design enables us to offer this very advanced X-ray system at a very economical price that is a fraction of similar machines in this category.

The new AXI machines from Scienscope will maintain our usual best in class price to performance ratio, and will also include top-notch features such as fully automated s/w tools. Standard features include: The latest technology sealed tube wide angel X-ray source, ultra-High resolution digital flat panel detectors, automatic void detection/calculation/reporting, automatic ball area measurement, automatic offset measurement, automatic missing ball and solder paste detection, and can accommodate board sizes up to 650mm x 600mm (25.5 x 23.6").

Operation could not be any easier. There are numerous built in automated tools that, once set up, do not need to be touched or modified. In addition to the most important automated tools there are many manual tools for easy manipulation. There is also not a lot of maintenance on Scienscope X-ray machines. Scienscope uses the latest technology closed tube X-ray sources that have micro-focus ability giving a crystal clear image and require no maintenance other than a simple calibration. Typical life expectancy of the tube is more than 10,000 hours.
