Sandvik Coromant 'Virtual Hub' Offers Live EMO Experience

Fair Lawn, N.J. – As well as its physical presence at EMO 2013, cutting tool and tooling systems specialist Sandvik Coromant will host an innovative Virtual Hub digital exhibition on Tuesday, September 17. The online Virtual Hub will provide those unable to attend the Hannover event with insights into the tools and solutions the company is showing at its EMO 2013 Smart Hub (B20, Hall 5).

From the digital entrance hall, online visitors can access the ‘Discovery Hall’, which will cover the latest product highlights; solutions for optimizing machine investment and integration; and a focus on industry-specific solutions.

The Virtual Hub’s theater will host a number of webcasts during the show, including a live broadcast of the unveiling of an innovative technology that will set new standards for metal cutting performance. This will occur at 2:00 p.m. CET (8:00 a.m. EST).

Visitors will also be able to engage in live chat sessions with Sandvik Coromant specialists based on the EMO Smart Hub. This includes two scheduled sessions. Mikael Lovblad, business intelligence expert, Sandvik, will lead the first session from 10.30 - 11:30 a.m. CET (4:30 - 5:30 a.m. EST), explaining how to optimize skills and knowledge.
