As offspring from SAE J2990 Hybrid and EV First and Second Responder Recommended Practice, SAE J2990/1 Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicle First and Second Responder Recommended Practice will address potential consequences associated with hydrogen vehicle incidents. This document will also suggest common procedures to help protect emergency responders, tow/recovery, storage, repair, and salvage personnel after incident has occurred.

New SAE Document Initiated

A new document, SAE J2990/1 Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicle First and Second Responder Recommended Practice, is beginning which is an 'offspring' from SAE J2990 Hybrid and EV First and Second Responder Recommended Practice.



J2990/1 will address the potential consequences associated with hydrogen vehicle incidents and suggest common procedures to help protect emergency responders, tow and/or recovery, storage, repair, and salvage personnel after an incident has occurred.
