Saddle Creek Names Vice President for West Coast Operations


Lakeland, Fla., June 7, 2011 - Saddle Creek Corp., a nationwide third-party logistics provider, announced that the company has named Kevin Lacey as vice president of its West Coast operations.

In his new role, Lacey will have responsibility for Saddle Creek's operations in Buena Park, Ontario, Rialto and Modesto, Calif., as well as new growth facilities in the region. He will be based at the company's Buena Park facility.

"Kevin is an ideal choice to guide the strategic business growth and development of our expanding West Coast operations," said Tom Patterson, Saddle Creek's senior vice president of warehouse operations. "His proven track record, extensive industry expertise and commitment to service excellence will make him a valuable resource for Saddle Creek and our customers."

Lacey has more than 20 years experience in leading warehousing and distribution operations. Prior to joining Saddle Creek, Lacey served as a leadership consultant with CKL Consulting. He has also held senior-level management positions at YRC Logistics, DSC Logistics and FedEx.

Lacey holds a B.S. degree from Rutgers University. He is a member of the Distribution Management Association (DMA) of Southern California and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
