RPC Superfos Presents Innovative Packaging at Taropak 2012

Both the building industry and the food industry need innovative packaging solutions. RPC Superfos has such solutions on display at the upcoming trade fair Taropak in Poland.

A pail of plastic for paint that can be opened and re-closed without the use of any tool at all. FlakeFree® lids that prevent unwanted flakes from falling into the paint. An almost non existing oxygen transmission rate to keep food fresh for long. These are just some of the innovative features of the packaging on display at the RPC Superfos stand at the Taropak International Trade Fair.

Area Sales Manager Artur Charuta from RPC Superfos Region Central says that there is an increased demand for clever packaging solutions that offer not only logistical and practical advantages, but also elegant looks. And this is exactly what RPC Superfos develops for the benefit of producers of food and building materials. RPC Superfos and the sister company RPC Bebo Polska are joint exhibitors at stand No. 22 in Hall No. 2.

Paint the easy way

Aimed at the non-food segment, Artur Charuta highlights Paintainer, a container which is especially suitable for paint and surface coatings:

"Paintainer can be opened and re-closed without using any tool and is very easy to stack, handle and transport. It is at the top-end of user friendliness. The container has more than these advantages, though; it also offers elegant looks in all colours, including metallic and premium visual brand presentation with In-Mould Labelling."

Another strong packaging solution showcased at the stand is SuperCube Rectangular. It comes with convenient diagonal handles that ensure easy emptying. An add-on to SuperCube is FlakeFree® lids that prevent unwanted flakes from falling into the paint.

Food stays fresh for longer in SuperLock

For the food industry, RPC Superfos puts the SuperLight and SuperLock pots on display. For convenience food, SuperLock features very long shelf life thanks to an outstanding combination of oxygen barrier protection on all surfaces and membrane sealing. The oxygen transmission rates are almost non-existent.

SuperLight is a light weight, yet sturdy packaging, which eliminates the risk of breakage and is especially suitable for dairy products.

"SuperLight and SuperLock are ideal for dairy, desserts and snack products," says Area Sales Manager Zbigniew Hryniewicz from RPC Superfos Region Central and continues: "Both solutions offer excellent user friendliness and decoration options with In-Mould labelling."

The UniPak range is another popular choice of the European food industry at large. Zbigniew Hryniewicz explains why:

"UniPak withstands both hot filling and blast freezing and tamper evidence is standard. During transport, a protective collar protects the lid and improves the stability of the pot. The pot comes with a liquid tight, snap-on lid and offers excellent decorations options to make the best of your brand."

On top of the well-designed and innovative range of ready-to-use packaging for food and non-food products, RPC Superfos creates and produces bespoke packaging in close cooperation with customers from all over Europe.

The specialist trade fair for professionals of the packaging community is the largest in Central-Eastern Europe and takes place from 8 to 10 October 2012 in Poznan, Poland.
