Rockwell Automation to Speak on Industrial Safety at ASSE Safety 2017 Conference

Presentation to focus on business benefits of using safety and operational data to help improve compliance and performance

MILWAUKEE, June 5, 2017 - Rockwell Automation will be sharing insights on transforming industrial safety at the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Safety conference being held June 19-22 in Denver. The annual event draws thousands of safety professionals to discuss best practices and technologies that can help improve worker safety and operations.

Pat Barry, safety regional manager at Rockwell Automation, will lead a technical session titled “Harnessing the Power of Safety Data to Improve Compliance and Performance.” The presentation will outline how the data available within a Connected Enterprise can help safety professionals better understand risks, enhance their safety efforts, reduce safety-related downtime and streamline compliance.

Safety professionals will hear how contemporary technologies that combine machinery and safety control into one platform can help to identify the root causes of downtime and stoppages. This can help increase efficiencies, improve product quality and make operations more responsive.

The Rockwell Automation technical session 667 will be held on June 21 at 4:30 p.m. A white paper on the same topic titled “Reimagining Safety in The Connected Enterprise” is available for download.
