Rockwell Automation Named to Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index


MILWAUKEE - Sept. 20, 2010 - Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index as one of the region's best performing sustainable companies. The change to the index becomes effective with the opening of equity markets today.

The Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index evaluates companies on criteria that reflect the economic, environmental and social forces driving the sustainability performance of a particular industry. Rockwell Automation was one of two companies added to the index's industrial goods and services sector.

In related news, Rockwell Automation was again accepted for the tenth consecutive year to the FTSE4Good Index of Companies. The index is a leading social responsibility investment index whose members meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards.
