RJ Valentine Joins ECNext as CFO

Corporate finance veteran to lead fiscal operations at leading online media company.
Columbus, OH---ECNext, a leading online media company that operates more than 50 premier business websites, has announced that RJ Valentine has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Valentine brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, operations, and strategy to the Columbus-based company. He will be responsible for the financial strategy of the company and play a critical leadership role in evolving the companies operations to become world-class.

Prior to joining ECNext, Valentine served as Vice President and COO/CFO of MPW Industrial Services, the leading provider of integrated, technology-based industrial cleaning, facility management, water purification & container management services in North America. . Valentine completed the privatization of MPW, effectively removing the company from the NASDAQ stock market via a merger.
Prior to joining MPW, Valentine served as CFO for Liqui-Box Corporation, a Columbus, Ohio based manufacturer of specialized liquid packaging systems. In 2002 he completed the sale of Liqui-Box to E.I. Prior to moving to Columbus to join Liqui-Box, he served in a dual role as a Division CEO, and as CFO of WW Holdings Inc., in Cleveland, Ohio.
A Cleveland native, Valentine's foundational business skills were developed with the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. Advancing from the public accounting arena onto the international stage, Invacare Corporation offered Valentine the challenge of creating a global audit group in 1992. By demonstrating versatile financial, structural, and business leadership skills, he was then asked to lead the valuations and integration of several acquisitions spread across several countries including New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Spain, and North America.
Valentine is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, and is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to his duties at ECNext, Valentine serves on the board of directors of Pentagon Technologies Group Inc., a California based company servicing the semi-conductor industry.
