Ridgeline Launches Water Storage System

Storage Units Provide Treatment Capability with Large Capacity Fresh Water and Waste Water Storage

Environmental Benefits Include Enhanced Recycling Efficiency and Reduced Need for Surface Water in Fracing Operations

CALGARY - Ridgeline Energy Services Inc. (TSX-V: RLE) ("Ridgeline") announces that it is in final stages of constructing its new Zero Impact water storage units. The units will complement Ridgeline's existing waste water treatment systems or be installed as stand-alone systems. The first storage units are expected to be integrated into Ridgeline's operating system in the Leonard Shale area in New Mexico by December 2011. These storage units are part of Ridgeline's commitment to provide a comprehensive water management system to its clients in the oil and gas exploration and production industry. Ridgeline will be manufacturing storage units throughout 2012 in conjunction with its water treatment systems and for lease as stand-alone units.

Ridgeline has successfully integrated pre-treatment of waste water into its Zero Impact water storage units. By adding storage capabilities, Ridgeline will be able to treat source water to client specifications and store this source water prior to frac operations. Ridgeline can also store treated flowback and produced water as it returns to the oil production facility over time. This will allow the client to reuse this water for further on site fracing or as stored water for transport to other sites. The Zero Impact system is also designed to be leased as stand-alone storage units to oil and gas producer's not currently using Ridgeline's water treatment system.

Key benefits of the new storage units include:

- Zero environmental impact to land and surrounding installation
area

- Markedly lower cost per cubic meter / barrel rates for storage
than competitors

- Variable sizes from 500m3/ 3,200 bbl. up to 35,000m3 / 220,000
bbl.

- Efficient use of a waste water pre-treatment integrated in
storage system

- Substantial reduction in need for pump trucks and water hauling

- Can be installed on rocky or rough terrain without significant
levelling

- Elimination of evaporation

- Installation without the use of cranes

- Largest unit section weighs less than 2,000 lbs. and can be
flatbed transported

- Operable in climates from -50°C/-58°F up to +82°C/180°F

- Provides temporary or long term storage

- Installation in most cases in one day

- Superior UV stability and heat retention

- Multiple manifold, drain and bulkhead configurations

Dennis M. Danzik, the inventor of Ridgeline's water treatment process and noted polymer expert commented, "Our team has engineered the Zero Impact system to meet the needs of our customers, including easy transportation and assembly of the units, while remaining durable and simple to work with. Our clients have operations in radically different locations and the ability to function in harsh climates was imperative. We have designed an enclosed storage unit to help Clients deal with evaporation issues which they have expressed can be a significant concern. This is especially noteworthy in the production areas of Texas and New Mexico. Difficulty in sourcing and the need to conserve water is foremost in our client's conservation efforts. Moreover, our single most important goal is to drastically reduce or eliminate the trucking of waste water. The Zero Impact System is also designed to work with the Ridgeline water treatment system. Incorporating part of the treatment process within the Zero Impact system was a good fit and natural progression of the technology."

"Ridgeline has been providing environmental consulting services to many of the major North American oil and gas producers for over a decade. Expanding our operations into the oil and gas production waste water treatment market came through listening to our clients' concerns and need for a solution to their water related issues. The solution, our electro-catalytic process, was facilitated by years of research and commitment by Dennis Danzik and his team." commented Tony Ker, Ridgeline's CEO.

Mr. Ker continued, "Ridgeline has been working for two years now in establishing our technology as an innovative process for the reuse and recycle of produced and frac flowback water. Through this process we have identified the need for a simple and cost effective solution to water storage issues in the fracing cycle and for produced water. Market research confirms an established and growing need for storage systems in the oil and gas production sector. Judging by the size of the market for water storage and success of some competitors, we feel these storage units will become an important contributor to Ridgeline's revenue."

Further details on this will be added to Ridgeline's website shortly.
