Rick Johnson Elevated to IT Director for Hendrickson
ITASCA, Ill. - Rick Johnson recently assumed duties as director, information technology (IT), for Hendrickson, announced Gary Gerstenslager, Hendrickson president and chief operating officer.
Based at Hendrickson's Woodridge facility, Johnson takes responsibility for the leadership and technical direction of the company's IT function including all desktop applications and hardware, networking, AS400 applications, all other software and hardware and communications technologies across the various business units.
He joined Hendrickson as eBusiness manager in 2005 after serving for four years as chief information officer (CIO) of British based Marconi PLC, where he had overall responsibility for global IT. Prior to Marconi Johnson was employed with Motorola Inc. across various IT leadership roles with the most recent being director, IT - Americas, Cellular Subscriber Sector. He has extensive global IT experience, particularly in Asia and Europe.
