Richard Crockford Elected to The Moles


PITTSBURGH, PA - September 7, 2011 - Nicholson Construction is pleased to announce that Richard Crockford, District Manager, New York, was recently elected a member of The Moles, the heavy construction industry's most prestigious, fraternal organization.

The Moles organization is comprised of individuals who are currently engaged or who have been engaged in the construction of tunnel, subway, sewer, foundation, marine, sub-aqueous or other heavy construction projects. Moles members are dedicated to promoting the heavy construction industry and supporting their colleagues through outreach programs and networking opportunities.

Crockford joins fellow Nicholson Construction Moles members Andrew Walker (President, Nicholson Construction,) John Wise (Senior Vice President, Nicholson Construction) and Ron Hall (Corporate Construction Manager, Nicholson Construction.)

To be elected to The Moles, prospective members must be nominated by a current member and have the support of five other current members.

Crockford, who has been with Nicholson for the past six years, has 28 years of geotechnical construction experience, including foundation and ground improvement design, contracting and management.

The Moles membership is limited to 538 members at any given time.
