RIA Immediate Past President Wins Martin L. King Award



Rockville, MD - The Restoration Industry Association (RIA), presented its highest individual industry honor, the Martin L. King Award, to Frank Headen, CR, WLS, CMH, at its recent annual Leadership Summit and Industry Expo in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Headen is the organization's immediate past president and has been in the construction and restoration industries for over 40 years.

Given annually, the Martin L. King Award recognizes an individual's exceptional service and dedication to the restoration industry. Headen was involved the restoration efforts at the Pentagon and World Trade Centers following 9-11; the NASA facilities at the Kennedy Space Center; and the FBI Headquarters and Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, as well as countless other high profile projects.

He holds numerous professional certifications and affiliations. His projects have won the RIA Phoenix Award three times, and he has been recognized as the Southern Remodeler of the Year and the North Carolina Remodeler of the Year.

"I was both surprised and honored by this award," said Headen. "Our goal has always been to do the job to the best of our ability and I thank you for this award."
