Investment strengthens VAC-TRON and positions the company for continued growth
Aurora, Colo. - Aug. 18, 2008 - Republic Private Equity (RPE), a Denver- based private equity investment firm that invests in privately held family- and founder-owned businesses to help them grow, announced today that it has acquired a majority interest in VAC-TRON Equipment. VAC-TRON is an industry leader in designing and manufacturing industrial vacuum trailers.
RPE will provide capital, as well as operational and functional expertise to support VAC-TRON's management team in its pursuit of strategic growth initiatives. Fifth-Third Bank acted as the senior lender, providing both term and revolver financing.
