Rayotek Scientific Inc. Hires New Manufacturing Process Engineer


SAN DIEGO, California- May 25-Rayotek Scientific Inc.® is excited to announce Chris Remen as their new Manufacturing Process Engineer.

"Chris is a Master Optician with over 20 years of experience developing and manufacturing optical systems. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Rayotek's engineering and manufacturing teams. I'm confidant that Chris's skills and talent will ensure superior product performance and customer satisfaction as Rayotek continues to grow." said Bill Raggio, Rayotek's founder and CTO.

Chris' unique skill set positions him perfectly as Rayotek's new Process Engineer where he will be responsible for creating and managing all production flow processes. In addition, Chris will be Lead R & D Technician for all new and existing optical products.

Prior to joining Rayotek, Chris worked for leading developers and manufacturers of optical systems, including: Cymer, Coherent and JDS Uniphase. At Cymer, Chris was responsible for developing product and process requirements for excimer laser system to ensure product performance, manufacturability and reliability. During his tenure at Coherent and JDS Uniphase Chris developed optical components, optical systems and manufacturing processes which resulted in increased yield and quality.

Chris spent 10 years at Stanford University, Stanford CA as a Research Associate and Master Optician running two independent research laboratories and teaching manufacturing practices and optical design for fabrication to PhD research students.
