Ray Leathers Becomes 4th President of Roll Forming Corporation

Effective April 1, 2007, Ray Leathers became the fourth President of RFC in the company's sixty-year history.

Barlow W. Brooks, Sr. incorporated RFC in the Commonwealth of Kentucky on February 18, 1947. He became the first President. Authorized capital of the new corporation was $50,000 preferred stock that was to be exchanged for machinery and $10,000 common stock. The stock was not fully subscribed and the business was started with a total capital of $36,510.

Barlow W. Brooks, Jr. was named President in June of 1972 and served until 2002 - after voestalpine Krems' acquisition of the company. The historic passing of family leadership was transitioned to Austrian born, Guenther Felderer, who became President and CEO of RFC. Felderer held the position for five years.

When asked to comment to the employees on this change in leadership, Leathers responded: "The employees of RFC are the ones that made it possible for one among our ranks to be chosen to lead RFC going forward. The growing success of our company over the past few years resulted from the demonstrated commitment of the people who are Roll Forming Corporation. Words can never express the appreciation and pride I feel as I prepare to lead and represent the company as President and CEO. I thank you in advance for your continued support so that each of us (and our families) may prosper from the success of 'our' company."
