Radyne Corporation Wins 2014 Fastest Growing Firms Award

Radyne Corporation, an Inductotherm Group Company was selected as one of 31 winners for The Milwaukee Business Journal's 2014 Fastest Growing Firms Awards. The award recognizes Southeastern Wisconsin companies for significant growth over the past three years.

Radyne’s growth has been driven by more than 2 million dollars of investment in its Milwaukee facility over the last two years. The corporation remodeled to make more efficient use of its existing space and added approximately 12,000 square feet of manufacturing, office and laboratory space with the aim of building the world’s best custom induction heating solutions and equipment supported by an advanced technology center.

The expansion houses Radyne’s Induction Process Engineering Center (IPEC) which includes advanced super-computer modeling and simulation of induction heating processes and equipment, a metallurgical laboratory, an induction heating laboratory, and an induction tooling design center. IPEC has equipped Radyne’s engineers and metallurgists with the tools essential for rapidly delivering customized thermal processing equipment that is optimized to support a lean manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing in this state-of-the-art Milwaukee facility has allowed Radyne to utilize the city’s rich resources to develop a more efficient model for delivering products while reducing lead times for the customer. As a result, the corporation has tripled its growth over a 5 year period.

Justin Mortimer, President/CEO of Radyne Corporation said, “Our growth is driven by our success helping customers compete and win in a challenging global marketplace. Our proud Milwaukee team makes that happen with a can-do attitude and a determination that can only be admired.”
