Racine Federated Inc. Names Dave Perkins President

Racine Federated Inc. has appointed Dave Perkins as President of the corporation effective July 1, 2008. He will succeed John Erskine Jr. in the President position, while John moves on to Chairman of the Board. Dave joined Racine Federated in 1986 as a Director and became the Vice President and CFO in May 1990. Dave will continue his role as CFO and be responsible for day to day operations.
In Dave's words, "When I joined RFI, I knew what a great organization it was (and still is). What makes it such a great organization is the employees. John has done a tremendous job in growing the company over the years with his gifted leadership. While nobody can completely fill "his shoes", I look forward to the challenge and with the help of RFI's greatest asset, the employees, will continue in his footsteps."
Dave has contributed greatly to the community. He has held positions as Chairman of Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce, Chairman of All Saints Health Care/Wheaton Franciscan Systems, President of Racine Community Foundation, Treasurer of Sustainable Racine and Campaign Chair of United Way of Racine. In addition to these roles, Dave also served on the boards for many local charitable organizations. He was a Board Member of United Way of Racine, Board Member of YMCA of Racine, Board Member of Society Assets, and a member of the Advisory Board for Johnson Bank. Dave's current community positions include serving on the Board of the Racine County Economic Development Corporation and Chairman of the Racine YMCA. With all of his highly regarded community involvement, Dave is wellknown throughout Racine and he is a great asset as president to Racine Federated.
