Pre-engineered mounts simplify and speed idler roll installation.
(Neenah, Wis.) - Three pre-engineered mounts from Webex simplify and speed dead shaft idler roll mount installation. The Quickie Mount is unique in its ability to tolerate some degree of misalignment, such as mounting to an unmachined surface. These mounts are often employed in place of pillow block bearings, saving time and money. Split Flange Mounts are ideal for between-frame mounting or mounting on a vertical surface.
Supporting the shaft end rigidly, the Rigid Mount is often selected for applications
with heavy loads and long-shafted rolls. The top half of the Split Flange and Rigid mounts can be removed to change rolls without disturbing alignment. Pre-engineered mounts are available for all standard shaft sizes up to 2 inches and are fully detailed in the Webex Idler Master Catalog.
