QSI Corporation Becomes Beijer Electronics, Inc.


Salt Lake City, UT.1 April 2011 - Today, QSI Corporation legally changed its name to Beijer Electronics, Inc. and is now the North American division of Beijer Electronics. Beijer Electronics [BELE] is a publicly traded company out of Malmo, Sweden with offices in sixteen countries around the world. Their human machine interface (HMI) products business area is best known for their iX Software platform and their reliable line of HMI terminals.

On 21 October 2010, Beijer Electronics acquired QSI Corporation to expand their presence in the North American market. The company will continue to manufacture its rugged line of human machine interfaces and mobile data terminals for both the industrial and vehicle industries as well as offer the high-performance operator panels, industrial PCs and automation software designed by Beijer Electronics.
