PV Nano Cell Named in the Global Cleantech 100 "Ones to Watch" List

Fernando de la Vega Will Present on Sicrys™ Nanometric Conductive Digital Inks at the 14th Annual Cleantech Forum in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO - PV Nano Cell, an innovative producer of single-crystal nanometric conductive digital inks, announced today that it has been selected for the 2015 Global Cleantech 100 Ones to Watch list, produced by Cleantech Group. PV Nano Cell CEO Fernando de la Vega, Ph.D., was also invited to speak at the Cleantech Forum in San Francisco about the power of new innovative digital nanometric conductive inks, which increase the efficiency and reduce the cost of solar panel manufacturing, enabling mass production.

PV Nano Cell's Sicrys™ conductive inks were introduced to the U.S. market in the spring of 2015. The innovative inks are produced sustainably without toxic waste and allow solar cell manufacturers to cut costs by more than 15 percent. The inks are suitable for noncontact digital inkjet printing, allowing manufacturers to avoid the breakage associated with traditional screen printing and enabling the production of thinner cells.

The very narrow patterns enabled by digital inkjet printing result in improved cell efficiency and lower costs. In addition to silver inks, PV Nano Cell has also produced the world's first commercially available stable copper nanometric inkjet conductive ink for solar cells, which delivers the outstanding properties of its Sicrys™ silver inks with even greater cost efficiency.

The Ones to Watch list seeks to highlight a group of companies that are catching the eye of leading players in the market. PV Nano Cell was chosen from a competitive applicant pool by a 100-member expert panel of judges, representing the diverse global cleantech community. This year saw a record number of nominations - 6,900 distinct companies from 60 countries.

The 2016 Cleantech Forum is to be held from January 25 to 27 at the Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco and de la Vega's presentation will take place on Tuesday, January 26, between 1:30-2:30pm. The complete list of the Global Cleantech 100 Ones to Watch list was revealed today. See the full list at http://www.cleantech.com/indexes/global-cleantech-100/2015-ones-to-watch/
