Hydraulic Institute to Unveil New 'Dynamics of Pumping Machinery' Webinar Series

Parsippany, NJ – The Hydraulic Institute (HI), in collaboration with Jack Claxton, Vice President of Engineering with Patterson Pump Company, is set to unveil the new ‘Dynamics of Pumping Machinery’ three-part webinar series on October 29, 2014.

Designed for pump end-users, pump OEMs, engineering consultants, and distributors, the Dynamics of Pumping Machinery webinar series offers insight into the three types of dynamic analysis including structural analysis, lateral analysis, and torsional analysis and how each analysis may help avoid vibration issues and pump issues related to resonance conditions. The series also contains an explanation of which tools are appropriate for various applications.

Gregg Romanyshyn, HI Technical Director, explains that, “the purpose of performing any degree of dynamic analysis is to provide some appropriate level of validation prior to the manufacture or installation of the pump package, into its intended operating environment”, adding that, “Proper analysis during the design phase can help avoid problems associated with excessive vibration that can lead to failure.”

Session one begins October 29th. Session two is set for November 5th and the final session will take place November 12th. Each session begins at 1:00pm ET and lasts approximately one hour. All paid registrants, who attend all live sessions, receive three continuing education credits directly from HI.

Series registration is now available in the HI eStore. Take advantage of this highly anticipated pump training series and register today. Registration Link: http://estore.pumps.org/Dynamics-of-Pumping-Machinery-3-Part-Webinar-Series-P559.aspx.
