PTR's John Rugh to Present at the 2012 International Electron Beam Welding Conference
Enfield, CT February 21, 2012- From March 26th -30th, the American Welding Society (AWS), the German Welding Society (DVS) and the International Institute of Welding will hold the second International Electron Beam Welding Conference (IEBW '12) in Aachen, Germany. This biennial international conference brings together scientists, engineers and technical personnel involved in the research, development, and application of Electron Beam Welding processes. The Global Beam Technologies Group (GBT); consisting of PTR-GmbH, Steigerwald as well as PTR-USA will be sponsors of this years proceedings.
PTR Sales Manager John Rugh will be presenting, "The Use of Electron Beam Welding in Turbomachinery Manufacturing", on Tuesday March 27th co-authored by fellow PTR employee and AWS Counselor Gary LaFlamme. Additional papers presented by GBT members this year will include:

o "EB Welding of Turbocharger Rotors - Many Aspects, Many Concepts" by K-R. Schulze
