Process Expo Launches New Spanish-Language Website

McLean, VA - The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) announced today that it has launched a Spanish language version of the PROCESS EXPO website. The site is part of a comprehensive program to inform Latin American food processing professionals about the benefits of participating in PROCESS EXPO, taking place November 1-4, 2011 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

"PROCESS EXPO enjoys attendance from all over the globe but the truth is, attendees from Latin America are by far our largest group," said Scott Scriven, Chairman of FPSA and President of Weber, Inc. "In 2011, we are making a concerted effort to make PROCESS EXPO the type of event that our customers and prospects from Latin America need to attend. For example, next year's show will include a dedicated day of educational programming in Spanish with topics that focus on critical issues in these markets. The new website will help us promote these sessions to this important audience."

While still in development, the Spanish language educational sessions at PROCESS EXPO 2011 will feature topics such as food safety and sanitation, employee training and maintaining standards for food and beverages being exported into the United States. In addition, FPSA councils will develop industry-specific sessions for meat/poultry/seafood, dairy, bakery, beverage and fruit & vegetables.

"With so many courses to choose from, having our content in Spanish on myprocessexpo.com will help attendees identify the sessions that are most important to them," added Andy Drennan, Vice President of International and Market Development for FPSA. "As we develop the program during the spring of 2011, this website will be instrumental in communicating session descriptions and speakers to potential attendees, while also making it easy for them to register and identify suppliers on the show floor that they wish to meet."
