FPSA to Provide Cutting Edge Technology to PROCESS EXPO 2011 Exhibitors and Attendees

McLean, VA - In another effort to provide a top tier exhibitor and attendee show experience, the Food Processing Suppliers Association has contracted with ethnoMetrics, a leading exhibition consulting firm that measures show traffic flow and evaluates the performance of face-to-face marketing environments.

"The use of the information generated by ethnoMetrics' cameras will enable our exhibitors to make the most of their show experience by allowing them to see how their sales team is performing, and how their booth design and location are operating in an active show environment," remarked FPSA Chairman of the Board Scott Scriven. "Additionally, the information provided by ethnoMetrics will provide FPSA valuable data as the floor plans for PROCESS EXPO 2013 are being designed," Scriven added.

Ethnometrics uses strategically placed cameras to measure the distribution of attendees on the tradeshow floor. By analyzing how attendees experience a tradeshow and how traffic flows on the floor, Ethnometrics can improve the entire tradeshow experience for attendees and exhibitors alike.

In addition to ethnoMetrics, FPSA will also utilize RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) at PROCESS EXPO 2011. This additional technology will provide yet another layer of vital and useful measurements, metrics, and business intelligence data that will further enhance the show experience for exhibitors.

"The unique combination of both the use of the ethnoMetric and RFID technology information that we gather at PROCESS EXPO 2011will help not only our exhibitors, but help us design and build better shows in the years to come," said David Seckman, President and CEO of FPSA.

FPSA will also be hosting informative educational sessions on both ethnoMetrics and RFID at two conferences being held prior to the 2011 show.
