Polymer Scientist Newest Employee at CHEMIR

Adrienne B. Hoeglund, Ph.D. has joined CHEMIR-EAG, bringing extensive industrial research and development expertise to the company's investigative analytical team.  Dr. Hoeglund has over 15 years of experience in analytical, organic and polymer chemistry.  With a background in problem solving, method development /validation and investigation of litigation claims, Dr. Hoeglund is a valuable addition to the company's technical consulting and testing services.

She brings experience with various analytical instrumentation including spectroscopy (GC/MS, NMR, FTIR, AA, UV-Vis), chromatography (GC-FID, HPLC/LC, GPC), thermal (DSC, TGA), mechanical (DMA, TMA), and rheological methods. She earned a Ph.D. from The University of Memphis in Bioorganic and Computational Chemistry under Dr. Abby L. Parrill, dissertation title:  Computational and Experimental Screening and Identification of New Classes of Autotaxin Inhibitors.

"It is exciting to have Adrienne join our analytical team" says Albert Lee, Ph.D., Director, Chemistry. "We are looking forward to utilizing her diverse analytical techniques, specifically her expertise with NMR analysis on raw materials and products with complex polymeric formulations."  CHEMIR's scientists solve problems with many types of polymer products, including plastics, coatings, adhesives, packaging systems, industrial components and consumer products
