Polar Tank Trailer Introduces Stainless Steel Hangers on Hendrickson INTRAAX Suspension

HOUSTON, -- At this week's National Tank Truck Carriers' Tank Truck Week event, Polar Tank Trailer unveiled its new stainless steel suspension product enhancements, developed in partnership with Hendrickson. Featuring stainless steel suspension hangers and airbag top plates, the high-strength system extends component life, reduces maintenance by eliminating corrosion in hard to reach areas, and enhances trailer appearance.
"We're pleased to offer this innovative system that outperformed conventional steel components in durability testing," said Polar's chief engineer Peter Weis. "It's yet another example of Polar's ongoing commitment to engineering long-lasting equipment."
Available exclusively on an extensive range of Polar Tank trailers, the new system features structural grade, high-strength stainless steel, with Hendrickson's proven INTRAAX suspension design. Through Polar's intensive computer simulation capabilities, the entire subframe design is optimized for light weight and manufacturability, while high-precision robotic welding ensures optimum strength and consistency. Corrosion resistant coating is applied on trailing arms and axle, incorporating self-healing characteristics.
