PMMI to Support East Afripack



Milan, – PMMI has agreed to support IPACK-IMA Spa with its launch of East Afripack (September 9-12, 2014 – Kenya).



PMMI joins a growing list of East Afripack’s supporting organizations, which also includes World Packaging Organization (WPO) and African Packaging Organization (APO). The show is organized by Ipack-Ima Spa in partnership with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), East African Community (EAC), the Ministry Of Industrialization of the Government of Kenya.

In meetings held during PACK EXPO International in Chicago in October 2012, Mr. Yuska and Dr. Corbella discussed their shared commitment to bringing world-class processing and packaging technologies closer to industries. Knowing that as much as 60% of the total food produced globally deteriorates, or goes wasted, both recognize how these technologies can make a substantial contribution to providing healthy and more plentiful food for East African countries.
