Pilz Names Craig Torrance National Sales Manager
(CANTON, MI) - Pilz Automation Safety, L.P., has named Craig Torrance National Sales Manager for North America.
In this position, Torrance is responsible for all sales and sales-related activities, including regional sales managers and service business sales.
Before being named to his current position, Torrance was Service Sales Manager for Pilz in North America (2006-2007) and Development Manager for Global Services at Pilz GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany (2003-2006).
He joined Pilz in 1999 as a Regional Sales Manager for Pilz UK and served as Services Team Leader there between 2001 and 2003). Before joining Pilz, Torrance was a Plant Control Engineer for BP Oil.
Torrance graduated with an electrical engineering degree in 1996 from Falkirk College of Technology and Science in Falkirk, Scotland. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in 1998 from Edinburgh University in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2003, he earned a master of business administration degree from University of Stirling in Stirling, Scotland.
