MESA and IndustryWeek Launch Quick Survey on Performance Metrics

Spend five minutes to get solid insights.

CHANDLER, ARIZ. - The Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) and IndustryWeek announce the launch of a new metrics survey about performance measurement and improvement. The survey is open for participation today through August 2 and will gather responses from a wide range of production and manufacturing industries. Participants can complete the survey in just five to ten minutes. The survey is open for response at: www.surveymethods.com/EndUser.aspx?A581EDF7A2E1F7F6A2.

This short survey asks ten questions related to performance measures plus a few demographic questions. "Our goal is to get people involved and thinking about how they measure and improve the performance of their business. Our awards and benchmarking programs are outstanding, but most participating companies already have a commitment to performance measurement," says Steve Minter, Editor-in-Chief of IndustryWeek.

MESA will conduct an every-other-year study in the Metrics that Matter series later this fall, but this interim short survey is intended to raise awareness and ask some different questions. "With this survey, we are gathering the perspectives of individuals from the executive suite to the plant floor and data center. We expect to see some harmony and some differences of opinion," says MESA Metrics Working Group Co-Chair Julie Fraser of Cambashi.

Anyone in a manufacturing or production industry in any role is requested to participate in this study by August 2. www.surveymethods.com/EndUser.aspx?A581EDF7A2E1F7F6A2. Results will be published at the MESA North American Conference September 19-21 in Orlando, Florida, and also in IndustryWeek.
