People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
NSF International, an organizational member and accredited standards developer of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has announced the appointment of Malcolm Fox as director of Sustainability Programs. NSF's Sustainability Programs focus on product assessment, standards development, and process verification.

Mr. Fox has over 20 years of experience in environmental management and governance programs for major manufacturers. Most recently he served as vice president of Trucost North America, a leading environmental data provider. He played a key role in the NSF International/Trucost alliance and managed the integration of Trucost's environmental footprinting capabilities into NSF International's existing portfolio of sustainability services.

Previously Mr. Fox worked as an environmental consultant in North America and Europe, focusing on issues related to corporate environmental compliance, performance, and governance. He founded two companies specializing in supply chain management and automotive compliance in the U.S. and the U.K., and is the former president of the Michigan Association of Environmental Professionals.

Mr. Fox holds an MBA from the Global Executive MBA program jointly run by Columbia University and London Business Schools and an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Salford in England.
