The National Restaurant Association (NRA), an organizational member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has announced that Scott DeFife has been named executive vice president, policy and government affairs. Earlier in life, Mr. DeFife worked in the restaurant industry, serving in a variety of front-line roles as he pursued his education. He received his B.S. in communications from the University of Texas at Austin and a masters of public affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.
