People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has appointed Danielle Gordon as senior manager, business development and licensing, operating out of the Institute's New York City office. She previously served as ANSI's licensing attorney.

In her expanded role, Ms. Gordon will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, and execution of new revenue opportunities, including licensing, partnerships, and strategic alliances with standards developing organizations (SDOs), commercial resellers, and third-party content providers, and for sustaining relationships with such parties. She will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts including intellectual property licensing agreements, sales and reseller agreements, products and services agreements, software reseller agreements, and site license agreements.

Ms. Gordon received her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
